Help keep CartDisc independent.
CartDisc is an independent project, made for people who keep games on a shelf. Your support helps cover the cost of keeping the platform running and of carrying on building it for the collectors who use it.
You will be taken to Ko-fi to complete the contribution.
Supporting is optional
Support is entirely voluntary: you do not need to contribute to carry on using CartDisc. Everything the product does today stays available to everybody, with or without support.
Where does the support go?
Contributions help cover what CartDisc needs in order to exist:
- hosting the application;
- the database;
- storage for the photos and artwork collectors upload;
- the infrastructure services the project relies on;
- developing and maintaining CartDisc.
There is no fixed split between them. What comes in is spent wherever it is most needed for the project to stay on its feet.
What supporting does not change
Supporting unlocks no features, grants no badge, changes nothing you see and creates no different kind of account. CartDisc does not record who supported it: the contribution is received and processed by Ko-fi, outside of here.
XP, levels and badges are earned by documenting releases and by nothing else. They are recognition from the community, and they are not for sale.
The community archive — the scans, the release records, the public pages — will never sit behind a payment, whether or not anybody supports the project.
