Your physical game shelf, online
Your PAL copy is not the same object as the NTSC-J one.
CartDisc catalogues physical games by the edition you actually hold — region, format, packaging language, insert — and keeps the scans that prove the difference.

The layer every other tracker skips
Most trackers store a game and call it done. A shelf does not work that way: the Brazilian pressing with the Portuguese manual and the European one are two objects, and only one of them is yours. CartDisc puts an edition between the game and your copy, which is what lets both exist without pretending to be each other.
Game
The title itself — Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Physical edition
Platform, region, format, packaging language, printing. Documented once, shared by every collector who owns it.
Your copy
Condition, completeness, what you paid, your notes, whether you have tested it. Yours, and private unless you say otherwise.
The archive belongs to the collectors who built it
Scan a cover, a back, an insert, a barcode. Once reviewed it becomes part of that edition's public record — visible to anyone, with or without an account — and it earns you XP, levels and badges. Nothing in that archive will ever sit behind a payment.

Private until you decide otherwise
- Profiles start private. Public and findable-in-search are two separate switches, and the second one is off.
- Your wishlist has its own visibility, because showing what you are hunting for is not the same as publishing what you own.
- What you paid, your notes and your test results are never public — by how the app is built, not by a setting you have to remember.
Your data leaves as easily as it arrived
Export the whole collection whenever you like, as a spreadsheet or as a printable catalogue.
Deleting your account is a real delete: rows gone, images gone, no copy kept just in case.
